Introduction
The Ford Motor Company was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford and also had a group of
11 investors on his side to form the company. The company began to launch factories in
Detroit, Michigan and would only be producing a small amount of cars per day. In 1908, Ford
launched the Model T which would eventually win the car of the century. The Ford Company
would soon see unprecedented growth due to purchasing the Lincoln Motor Company in 1920,
in which this company was Fords competitor and most of the production would be moved to a
Ford complex. The most known and iconic cars for Ford would soon be introduced in the 1950s
and 1960’s, those cars being the Mustang and the Thunderbird. “The Mustang and the
Thunderbird would quickly become international symbols of American consumerism in the post
era war and throughout the next several decades, Ford continued its global expansion”
