It is hard to narrow down the different meanings of history in just one sentence. History
shows the passing of time, teaches lessons to the future generations what not to do, history shows
wars and plagues, it also shows times of peace and beauty throughout the world. In culture,
history plays a big role as the beliefs and past values are carried into the future, as well as legal
and religious matter in a nation. History has proven time and time again that it influences both
