of the message, and underlying context. These types of cultures care more
about the well-being and the harmony of the group rather than personal
achievement.

relationship is more important as they like to get to know the person first. This
may cause other cultures to get annoyed as they might want to get straight to

Low context
a) Low context cultures communicate in explicit, precise, direct ways. These
types of cultures care more about the individual and personal
achievement rather than the feelings/well-being of the whole group.
b) The United States is a very low context culture, as they get right to the
