Time Warner Cable used to be one of the major television cable and internet provider in
USA. Charter communication acquired Time Warner in 2016 and continued as Charter
communications in the beginning, later changed its name to Spectrum. Time Warner head
quarters used to be in New York and the second biggest in cable company where Comcast used
to be the number one.
Five Force Model is defined by Porter and it is known as Strategic Management Tool, to
understand and analyze industries that might be impact Time Warner positively or negatively.
