Informative Oral Presentation
MW Assignment Requirements
For your first major oral presentation of the semester, you will be delivering an informative-
natured presentation. The oral presentation and the typed outline for the presentation are both due
on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. You must bring the following items with you to class on
the appropriate due date of this assignment:
• Your typed outline. Stapled to the back of your typed outline on a separate piece of
paper will be your Works Cited page. The Works Cited should follow the MLA
format.
• Your completed, purchased 3 X 5 note cards. I will check to make sure they are
completed at the beginning of class and there will be a grade penalty if note cards are
not completed. 3 X 5 note cards are required to be used for the presentation.
• Your own flash drive or thumb drive. Students are not allowed to share flash drives
or thumb drives with each other. The flash drive or thumb drive must be newly
purchased and only files from this course should be on these drives. If you bring an
older drive and/or I am not able to download your speech onto the drive for any
reason, you will not be able to complete the 25-point Informative Presentation Self-
Analysis Paper.
• Your visual aids which can be either props or models or Power Point only. The
Power Point can be on the same flash drive or thumb drive which you are required to
bring to class.
