Fitness Industry
There are many ways to go about the fitness industry, but I am going to pretend that I am a
marketer for many different lines in the industry. Being in expert in this industry would
start with identifying customer wants and needs. Everyone wants to be healthy and look
good. I think looking good is the biggest desire people have that the fitness industry has to
offer. Also people want to be healthy and feel good throughout their day. There is a very
broad market in this industry. I think being able to come up with a product that will focus
on peoples wants in this industry can have a huge impact. There are many products out
there that are already, but I think I could have a better solution that will lead to an
increased satisfaction. The exchange process can be as simple as having a product
available to them in a gym or personally delivered.
My role as a professional marketer in this industry would be to fulfill the wants and needs
of potential customers. There are many current trends that are a part of the industry.
Anywhere from high-intensity interval training, body weight training, strength training,
exercise and weight loss, personal training, fitness group, and circuit training. I think these
are some of the major trends in the fitness industry. This only describes the actions in the
industry though. There are also many products out there that are for consumption.
Supplements are a very big trend in the industry. The question I think we have to focus on
is what do people want out of a fitness lifestyle? Also something else to keep in mind is to
try to identify what obstacle is keeping people from reaching their ultimate goals? Is it the
lack of knowledge when they work out? How is their diet? Diet is the most important part
of working out. Being able to identify what people in the industry need is crucial. I would
like to come up with a well-rounded solution that touches on the majority of these issues.
As I have stated earlier, this market is very broad. Marketers could be trying to come up
solutions in so many different areas. Some could try to find a solution through technology.
For example, earlier this year, a new product was launched in the industry. It is called the
Vessyl. This product was made towards the people that would like to keep track of
