Financial literacy is defined differently by just about everyone who studies the subject, they all
agree on several things though; financial literacy is understanding finances, debts and planning
for the future. In order to do this you need to be literate on how finances work (Saving, investing,
spending, etc.), how debts work (The difference between good debt and bad debt), and planning
for the future (investing in certain things, the difference between an asset and a liability and how
they benefit you).
Learning how to invest
One of the most important financial aspects for everyone to learn is learning how to
invest, this does not just mean putting 5% into your companies 401k and thinking you are
okay. This means to understand how stocks, bonds and mutual funds work and how to use
