ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Firstly, my team and I appreciate the Semenyih Library for given us the authority
and opportunity for making this community service project happening. The librarians
have also given us some hands to ensure the project run smoothly. Their support and
assistance hands down make the completion of repainting the wall easier and faster.
Not only that, but they have also provided some useful information such as the
background story and situation they are facing which enabled us to further assist in
the future when there is a chance.
Secondly, we as a team are grateful as the university has provided us resources to
conduct this project. With this golden opportunity given, we are able to acquire
plentiful of social/individual skills, knowledge and make more friends. The fund has
helped us to succeed the project since we are unable to perform this project without
tools like paint, which is expensive.
Thirdly, we would like to thank the authority for their guidance. Also, the lecturer
has answered questions we are unable to obtain ourselves and has given us clear
instructions of how the project could be nicely done.
Lastly, we appreciate for the time all the members are willing to dedicate in this
project.

INTRODUCTION
The Semenyih Library located in Jalan Besar Semenyih, 43500 Semenyih,
Selangor Malaysia, is a public library that operates for everyone to utilize for free
since 15 March 2010. The library is funded by Selangors state government and the
main purpose of this library is to encourage reading culture through supporting
students to read more and cultivate the youngster reading habits. Computer labs are
also built to allow students to access and find more additional information needed.
In order to encourage and attract more students to read more books, we believe
a good environment may be one of the motivations for students to reach out the
library. Hence the community service project for our team is to repaint the worn-out
wall that looks bad.
On top of that, there may be teenagers who may not be able to access
additional outside education, in this case we have implemented few workshop
regarding to MS application which allows everyone to benefit from this workshop
through exposing variety of software which improves efficiency in term of work/study
material.

PROCESS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
3.1
PLANNING
We have formed a team of four for this community service project. Tasks and
responsibilities are delegated to each member so they would know what role they play
in this project. Of course, we have conducted meetings to make sure everyone is
satisfied with the tasks to prevent any conflicts or objections. Before conducting the
activity in real life at the site, we have done some inspection to determine what is
needed and the usage/quantity required to complete the task to prevent project running
slow. Not only that, but we have also determined some areas that members should be
aware to prevent any injuries. Moreover, we have discussed and decided the date of
the activities to make sure everyone are able to attend. Lastly budget planned has
been done to not over expense.

PREPARATION
Team has done some research to find the cheapest yet good quality product as
possible. Then we contacted the supplier to make purchase of the tools such as paint,
brush and paint tray. Besides that, we have also done some testing of the paint colour
to ensure it meets our expectation and outcome. In addition, design flyer and paste
them on the notice board located around the university, hence more and more people
may share the workshop that will be held. Furthermore, came out with a timetable for
both event. Time table are at follow:
