Final: Informative Speech
Introduction: Competing for sports can be one of the most challenging things anyone can
possibly do. It takes preparation, time management and most importantly dedication. When I
competed for THSPA in high school which stands for Texas High School Powerlifting
Association it was one of the best experiences of my life. Although when I found out I was
competing on a state level I didn’t realized how much more training I needed done.
I.Preparation:
• I want to say a month before a powerlifting meet starts the competitor
starts dieting and conditioning to make sure he or she compete in the same weight
class they enrolled themselves in. Because if you go over you get disqualified.
