Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while
increasing the positive aspects of conflict. The aim of conflict management is to enhance
learning and group outcomes, including effectiveness or performance in an organizational
setting. Properly managed conflict can improve group outcomes. Conflict management is very
evident in the workplace today. No matter how great the company looks on the outside, there
will always be conflict on the inside. For example, a conflict between co-workers, a conflict
between the employees and the boss, or conflict with old employees and new employees. There
is many way to resolve conflict in the workplace, and even though it sounds impossible, it can be
resolved. Compromising, withdrawing, and confronting are all great ways to help resolve
conflict in the workplace. My conflict management example is about a shoe store who is hiring
