8. Yes, I was admitted at Wake Med for taking acid my 10th grade year. I was
depressed, losing my mind because I was still being teased a year later for
getting “beat up”. I was doing anything and everything to try to find something to
ease my mind, although when I got to the hospital the doctor said there was no
sign of acid in my system, but I was still admitted onto another floor due to a
“mental illness” and was advised by my doctor that I should see a psychologist
within 48 hours.
