Abstract
Working capital management is simply the management of short-term assets to run the
day to day affairs of business. Our team C will consider some of the strategies Finagle a
Bagel introduced on working capital management that brought about the success of their
business.

Learning Team C Week 3 Reflection
Finagle a Bagel, a family owned and operated business based in Boston Massachusetts.
Alan Litchman and Laura Trust Presidents and Co-Owners, purchased the business in October of
1998, with four additional stores. Richmond and Trust previously worked in corporate America
and decided they no longer wanted to work for someone else. The owners have discussed various
strategies to manage and maximize their working capital.
Working Capital Management
This week Learning Team D addressed strategies regarding strategies business owners use
to manage their working capital. Many business owners find great difficult in working the capital of
the organization in favor. Working capital means that the amount of the current assets exceeds the
amount of the current liabilities
Team C will address the strategies discussed in managing and maximizing to Finagle a
Bagel’s working capital and other opportunities for them to remain resourceful.
Market Research
The owners decided to open the stores at the right time and at the right place, the one
thing which they were prominent about was to keep the quality stable no matter how much they
were required to spend on materials. Finagle a Bagel is known for its fresh out of the oven bagels
