The fictional protagonist I feel I mostly relate to would be Andrew “Ender” Wiggin
from the Enders Game by Orson Scott Card. I chose Ender over the many options of
books I have read throughout my life because I feel as if his struggles throughout
Enders Game which I identified as him being tricked into commanding a real fleet full of
real people against the buggers when Ender believed it to be just a game where the
fleet was computerized and not full of real people, no one would have died if it was his
normal simulator. Another issue I believe he had was him being so small and tiny, in the
beginning he was the runt in his family and with his schoolmates and he was beat and
bullied for it, his minuscule size, vast intelligence, and being such a young child brought
him into a fight he did not want to be in. A final issue I believe he had throughout the
story was being lured into situations he didn’t want to be in with lies; getting into his
