Origin of Fascism
Fasciam emerged in the 20th century. The term fascism derived from the Italian word “fasces” which
mean “a bundle of road in within an axe blade. Fascism and its emergence is located between the two
world wars and the specific conditions are that emerged as a revolt against some modern ideologies
such as the liberal ideas and values of the enlighten on one hand and communist ideology on the other
hand.

Anti-rationalism
In the late 19th century thinkers had started to highlight the limits of enlightenment ideas of human
reason and draw attention to other perhaps more powerful, drivers and impulses ag. Neitzche’s
“Ubermensh” and “will to power”. Fascism give political expression to the most radical and extreme
forms of counter-enlightenment thinking. Abandoning the standard of universal reason fascism has
placed its fact entirely in hestory, culture and the idea of organic community. It lead to the generation of
political miyth to unofy people on its totalitarian agenda.
