If I were to teach someone who did not know anything about how to use search
intent to get results from SEO, I would use a PowerPoint to teach this person because it is
the easiest visual aid to use in order to teach a new person a lesson. I would first start off
with explaining what SEO is and why it is important. Then I would explain how SEO
success yields traffic and later it will turn into revenue. Then I would explain how ACE is
important: architecture, content and endorsements. These things could really make or
break your website. Then I would explain how the intent funnel basics are really
important. There are three parts to the funnel and I would explain the three parts in
thorough detail to help them understand the best that they could. In order to explain the
funnel, I would use a picture of a funnel and split each third into a different slide. In the
top half of the funnel, I would explain how the purchase intent is low. Also, the traffic
volume is high.. On another slide, I would explain how the middle part of the funnel is
slightly different from the first top half. Purchase intent is medium and traffic volume is
medium. In the bottom part of the funnel is also pretty different. The purchase intent is
high and traffic volume is low. Next, I would explain how the person needs to pick
and volume, then this person will be successful.
