as artist. “Experimental vitalism seeks out and isolates these liminal beings and states not simply
because they produce astonishment, but also and more fundamentally, because they encourage
invention on the parts of artist and scientific researchers”. From this quote we can conclude that
in the romantic-era vitalism was not completely understood and scientists as well as artist were
