From chapter 26, three pieces of art that are examples of cultural expression from the
Americas are “Two Grey Hills,” feathered bowl, and Red Mean: Self Portrait.
The piece “Two Grey Hills” is a Navajo tapestry from 2003 using a style from the 1900s
in New Mexico. On the one hand, this tapestry is just a weaving, but for the artist and her culture
it has strong ties to religion and the universe. For example, this kind of pattern will remind
