AGP 543 Greenhouse Management
Exam 1
1- The location I choose was my school greenhouse back home. The greenhouse that it
currently there is next to a hill. The greenhouse is in the center of town, so it is
surrounded by other houses and a road. The area around is very grassy and is in a wide-
open space with no trees to cause shade.
2- Photos are attached at the end with descriptions next to the photo.
3- Since I am going to teach one day, I decided to use this location in hopes of having an
idea of how to build one or fix one up at the school I will one day teach at. I plan on
being able to sell to the community mainly but parents of my students and teachers will
also be welcome to shop at the greenhouse. I hope to do a lot of vegetables, potted plants,
and annual flowers for gardens. Due to being at a school I do not think that we will sell
other items such as fertilizer or containers. I think that this will be a lot to keep up with. If
people, ask where I purchase the items that the greenhouse have it would be easiest for us
as a school just to point them in the right direction.
4- I envision the greenhouse to be big enough for at least eight of the rolling benches and
room for work benches so that the students have a place to learn and to do experimental
work if they would like. This would be at the school and next to the greenhouse would be
