Information Systems.
There has been many events that has influenced the way the United States Health Care
Information Systems is managed. In the 1960’s the passing of Medicare and Medicaid Act were
the main healthcare drivers, to support the health care plan. To manage patient health
information, mainframes and storages was the very expensive way IT was managed. During
that era, due to the cost, and space needed, organizations sometimes shared the use of these
