Everything Happens for a Reason
The idea that everything happens for a reason is definitely nothing revelatory or
otherwise mind-blowing. Nevertheless, it can be argued that significant events play a large role
in shaping our everyday existences. There can be several moments which cause our mental
capacities to be driven into a state of reverence and awe. Many people have gone through phases
in which they have discovered who their true self is, and had that proverbial lightbulb moment
when it all seemed to come together, whether it be for an instant, or over a series of occurrences.
However, everyone at one time or another has experienced an event, great or small, which for
one reason or another, helped him or her to discover the purpose of their life, which consequently
has made them more conscious and appreciative of the seemingly mundane moments that often
get ignored in the chaos that presents itself in various forms. Nevertheless, one must learn the art
of appreciating every God-given minute that is allotted to each of us, if we are to understand the
complexities that exist in even the very minute details that life has to offer us.
It is often said that certain people come into our lives for a reason, which is definitely a
well-known fact of life. It is definitely not uncommon to find that we experience events, good
and bad, for interior motives that we generally don’t discover until long after the time has passed
for the event to have an immediate effect on us. For example, there have been a plethora of
friends that I have been fortunate enough to encounter on the path of life. Moreover, many of
them have and continue to shape the individual that I am today. However, in most cases, I did not
