When working with Geo on my monologue, and when watching him work with others,
there was a good emphasis on urgency. A monologue with high stakes needs urgency. It was
extremely helpful to find that urgency by having Geo argue against me as I performed, but,
without an actual scene partner, I needed to keep the desperation apparent when I was doing it
alone. I found that it is useful to be aware of the given circumstances before performing;
knowing that Ray, in my monologue, needs money immediately for drugs in order to qualify for
