Abstract
UNCW is a fantastic campus and it definitely deserves that kind of reputation. I spent a
lot of time learning about UNCW because it is the most convenient college for me to attend to. I
knew UNCW was one of the better universities to attend in North Carolina and luckily I have the
opportunity to attend that college without paying a bunch of money for a dorm room and stay
with my family and close to home. UNCW has a nursing program that I am greatly interested in
taking part in because my career that I have my eyes set on relies on that nursing program. I
interviewed two individuals from UNCW, one student and one representative that works for the
student services. I toured UCNW with my sister and her boyfriend to learn more about the
campus and what is there. I took the advantage of attending an event at UNCW that consisted of
something that I have a passion for, cars. There is a car club at UNCW that meets once a week
and I attended it to find more about how the student life is at UNCW. I found out a lot about
UNCW and I learned that it was an even greater university than I thought and it is the one for
me.

The Best for Nursing
Ever since I was a young boy I always looked up to my mom and was fascinated with the
kind of work she did, she inspired me to go into a field of study that I may have not ever been
interested in. Many schools in the state of North Carolina provide a decent nursing program, but
UNCW provides an above average program for future nurses and suits my needs better than any
other college. The reason for UNCW being better for me is because it is only approximately
twenty miles from my house. I can live at home and live off of my parents rather than get a dorm
and have to pay for my own food. Not living on campus and not having to pay for my own food
will give me a huge advantage because that is several thousands of dollars that I will not have to
pay by going to UNCW, plus I am a resident, so it is cheaper. The student loans will not be as
