leadership is the only method to sustain the company in current situation. They believe that the old way
to manage a business isn’t work in the modern market. According to the authors, a leader has the power
to influence the success of an organisation because of his complete control over the organization’s
direction, as well as the influence they exert on their employees, who are motivated to take the
company to new heights.
In my opinion, I agree with the authors where leadership is essential in building a successful
business. It is clear that all other business elements are dormant without leaderships. Where strong
leaders can help company to maximise their productivity and achieve their company goals. But
ineffective leadership will harm the productivity and jeopardise the company’s health. Where authors
also stated that although leadership has the ability to bring out many changes to improve overall
organisation quality, there are still other factors that has to be considered that may be influencing the
likelihood of those changes occurring. It is so true where leadership is not a single trait that will cures all
ills, rather it is a collection of factors that must be present in order for an organisation’s leadership to be
considered adequate. It’s also worth noting that there are a variety of effective and ineffective
leadership styles. The fact that one manager is jovial and the other is refined does not mean that one is
more effective than the other.
