Ethics Reflection Paper
After taking this ethics workshop, I learned a great deal on top of the things
that I already knew. I think one of the things that were very interesting to me was
being sanctioned for using your own work and still be considered plagiarism. The
workshop helped me understand what some of the consequences were for things
that were done. A lot of the information was good for me since I never knew that
were such serious or lighter consequences for situations. The information that I
received helped me understand why I was given such sanctions. It became clear to
me that doing anything wrong on the final exam would be very detrimental. If I
were put in the same position, again I would definitely go a different way about it.
As said in the ethics workshop, when you do something wrong you are not only
effecting yourself but others. For instance, cheating might give you a better grade
but suck for the others that were trying to use the curve. I would definitely just face
work out.
