For this assignment, I have chosen to compare and contrast the code of ethics within
WWF, NWSA, and ACHE. WWF, also known as World Wildlife Fund, is a organization
who dedicates it’s time and donations to preserving nature and wildlife throughout the
world. NWSA, also known as National Women’s Studies Association, is an organization
that dedicates its time and profits to spreading education to women and about woman.
Finally, ACHE; also known as American College of Healthcare Executives; supports those
who have chosen the healthcare field as their profession. I chose three rather different
organizations because I wanted to compare them and show how even though the mission
fields are outlandish when put next to each other, they still have similar goals and rules
they abide by.
To start off, WWF has most of their code of ethics obviously focused towards wildlife and
animals; However, there were similarities within WWF, ACHE, and NWSA.
Independently, WWF aims to avoid confrontation at all costs and utilize their donor’s
money extremely carefully and frugally. In comparison with NWSA, they both strive to
keep their members and supporters in the loop with up to date information at all times. In
regards to WWF and ACHE, there weren’t two things they had in common without also
sharing it with NWSA.
The National Women’s Studies Association, or NWSA, prides itself in providing
transparency to it’s supporters and making sure their name is kept in good light. With
transparency, NWSA does it’s best to keep all it’s employees and supporter’s in the loop;
