The company I chose for this chapter is Starbucks executive chairman and former CEO Howard
Schultz, I believe he is an exceptional leader who goes above his duties to give back not just to
employees but to many more of his stakeholders. Mr. Schultz continues to prove that a business can
exceed expectations of just looking for profits by sharing success with its people and the community it
serves. Mr. Schultz is described as a “servant leadership”, because of his leadership, culture, and values
that he has worked with at Starbucks, Starbucks is now recognized as a world respected business and
that they are “committed to strengthening communities through human connection and social
innovation”. I believe he is a greatly ethical leader for Starbucks. Based on the chapter I believe Mr.
