Directions: Aer reading the article you should use the ethical analysis process described on page 130 of your
text. For each question, please make sure that your answer is thorough and uses proper spelling and grammar. For
instance, when asked to identify the options you can take, be sure to list several di#erent courses of action you could have
taken (e.g. noti%ed users of the experiment, not ran the experiment, run the experiment as they did) as well as an
explanation about what you mean by each one. Then, for question %ve, make sure you thoroughly explain the potential
consequences (this means both the benefit and drawbacks, or pros and cons) of EACH option you presented. I really
don’t want to see just a few bullet points for your responses; this week’s homework should be a bit more involved than
some of our other assignments. Your final document will probably be several pages long, but I believe this is one of the
more interesting chapters of our book!
