New organ donor rules: ‘Goulish’ or smart?
1. Short summary: There is a proposal to change organ donor rule. Proposed changes
in the way and the moment to take organs from dead patients. As usual, doctors
have to wait two minutes to see if the patient’s heart stars beating again after
his/her has stopped beating. However, the United Network for Organ Sharing
(UNOS) wants to let doctors take organs from a patient right after his/her heart
