1. Why is it important to be ethical in communicating today?
Being ethical entails behaving by moral values or upholding high moral standards. It encourages people
to be compassionate and empathetic toward others without asking or requiring them to do so. It is a
natural phenomenon that will cause people to realize their level of misbehavior.
People are becoming more knowledgeable and aware of their rights and limitations. Being ethical is
now an important responsibility for each of us because breaking the rules not only violates the rules but
also violates our human sense of respect. Having valued and showing respect has become a major
problem in today’s world. In social media and other modes of technological communication, people
have more access to bullying and indecency.
Today, ethical communication is crucial because most people have lost sight of what is right and what
affects others. Aside from that, there’s the question of respect and being a respectable human being.
