The Repercussions of Plagiarism
Anyone can plagiarize. Plagiarism is the act of taking someone’s else work and claiming
it as yours. When taking the Indiana University plagiarism test the ones I study were word for
word plagiarism and paraphrasing plagiarism. A study shows that more than 36% of college
undergraduates have plagiarized on written assignments (Williams Pg2). The repercussions of
plagiarism can be from getting expelled from school, taking the course again, and even failing
the class. Plagiarism can even be done unaware but always make you check your work. When in
