Reality TV plays a big part in the U.S. today and often displays similar tropes to other
shows. The show, The Masked Singer, is one of these shows. Starting in Korea as a guessing
game, it was later re-introduced in America as a singing competition set to be aired on Fox. It
targets the young adults and adults as their audience. This show appeals to the audience by being
a singing competition, and also gives the viewers the power to keep or eliminate someone every
week by voting at the end of performances. The social order of this show maintains the norm of
having a competition in a very competitive driven country, and it also follows the same structure
