Thank you for sharing your sentiments on liberty and what it means to you. Indeed, liberty is
being human, and I believe human beings have unique differences. The biggest challenge for
people is learning how to co-exist peacefully in a multicultural society. Enlightenment was a step
towards challenging rigid systems that oppressed the, seemingly, inferior communities.

Both the Great Awakening and Enlightenment truly enrich our history. Today, we can learn
about these pivotal events and appreciate the evolution of human relations at both the micro and
macro levels. The United States has grown to be a powerful nation, and it all started with the
inspiration and learning fueled by radical changes in social, religious and political ideologies.
