Abstract
This article examines the invention of the airplane, and the author makes it clear that
apart from the Wright brothers. Apparently, many other inventors were working on their
designs in the same decade as the Wright brothers, only that they were in different
countries. Most of these countries such as France and England were in Europe, and in
most cases, the news about their existence did not leave the locality. The article focuses
on the decade that followed the Wright brothers’ inventions and outlines these inventors
or builders. Besides, it focuses on the countries in which these airplanes were built and
