1.3.1: Good Vibrations
Pinna: The external part of the ear in humans and other mammals
Auditory Canal: Either of the passages in the outer ear from the auricle to the tympanic
membrane
Eustachian tube: A slender tube that connects the tympanic cavity with the nasal part of the
pharynx and serves to equalize air pressure on either side of the eardrum
and through which the ossicles of the ear transmit sound vibrations to the cochlea
Vestibular nerve: Helps the body to maintain balance and orientation
