Computer Crimes
Computer crimes are defined as “unauthorized use of a computer for personal gain, as in
the illegal transfer of funds or to alter the data or property of others.” They’re a lot of computer
crimes which can be defined as “cybercrime.” For example, phishing, misusing personal
information, hacking, spreading hate, distributing child pornography. The list can go on, but
they’re people who live their lives as hackers and don’t care who they’re hurting. Also, the
penalties for cybercrimes depends on the type of crime being committed.
There are many forms of computer crimes, but the computer itself is an instrument of
crime. How would you feel if you just bought a new house, car, furniture, and the latest on
electronics? Suddenly you want to buy more, but you don’t have any internet connection hooked
