“Just Eat It” documentary
Just Eat It is a documentary about the large amount of food that is being wasted all
around the world. It focuses on a couple, Grant and Jen, that have taken the challenge on living
on waste food for 6 months. They go through wholesale dumpsters, aisles in supermarkets and
farmer’s markets to get what people don’t want. At first, they think that it is going to be a
difficult task in the sense that they will not find enough, to their surprise, they found more than
enough that was in perfect condition. Some of it was not being sold because of the aesthetic
looks of the vegetable or fruit. They expressed their concern when they were not finding the
necessary variety that a person needs in their diet, meaning that some specific foods are being
wasted.
