Deforestation in Thailand
Deforestation is not only a very important issue locally, but it has larger consequences on
the world if done on a large enough scale. Forests are homes to vast amounts of species, and we
continue to encroach and tear down their environment. We typically don’t ever account for the
carbon emissions and pollutants released just to tear down these forests. Forests help cool our
planet by storing carbon, and if we continue to cut them down at alarming rates we will regret it.
