College is the most common place to find yourself. The article “Who Are You and What Are You
Doing Here?” by Mark Edmunson, explores all of the possible aspects that influence your college
experience. The people in your life play an important role in how your future could be shaped.
Edmunson’s point is to state that society affects what your purpose in college is. Meaning, that some
people only choose to go to college or select their major based on the high paying jobs you can get from
it. I say, that I can agree with Edmunson because it is obvious that many people are now miserable with
