The Selfishness Within
Where does a person’s drive to be great come from? Many people go through life with the idea
that the world revolves around them. Being selfish is an innate human behavior and should be
encouraged in a society which thrives on the contribution of individuals. Every individual has an internal
drive to survive and prosper; rather than suppressing selfish behavior, it should be encouraged in
education and the workplace.
