Before attending the Apostolic church, I did research about it because I really didn’t know
what to expect. Therefore, I didn’t want to attend a new place without having some
knowledge of the place. From what I’ve heard about them, Apostolic group’s members
have no connection with the Apostolic Church denomination, which holds evangelical
doctrine on the Trinity and Baptism. So I decided to search on the web I found some
interesting facts about the church. The Apostolic Church is not part of the Oneness
Pentecostal Movement. Apostolic Church is a common term describing churches and
groups within the Oneness Movement. I also search their dress code and I found out that
most women in the apostolic church do wear skirts/dresses that are between below the
knee and on down to the ankle, and most wear sleeves that are past the elbow to full length
and they dress like this year around. After doing all my research I felt I was finally ready to
attend an Apostolic church.
I found one in 19835 N 12th St, Phoenix, AZ . As I got off my car, I notice that the
building was no different than any other. There was no religious symbols outside, which I
thought was kind of odd because in my religion the first thing you see is a huge cross. So
without and symbol of any kind you were not able to tell if it was a church or not.
