EE 312: Electrical Systems Name: Daniel Conley
Spring 2017
Project Report
Objectives:
1. Use mathematical and conceptual reasoning to construct a light detecting circuit using an
LDR and resistors that power an LED when placed in a position where light cannot reach
the LDR.
2. Use mathematical and conceptual reasoning to construct a temperature sensitive circuit
using a thermistor and resistors that power an LED exposed to heat.
Parts Used:
Breadboard
6V battery
Electrical wires
Red LED
10kΩ resistor
LDR
Thermistor
2.2kΩ Resistor
