Dreaming of A Doll
When Karen was five she dreamed of getting a doll, from her Dad. At age twelve she
dreamed of liberty. Karen’s dad was a good guy who made the terrible mistake of leaving her
with his friend Lora. He promised to come back for his “sweet angel”, as he called her. He used
to tell her, “kids are like little angels, they bring us joy. You my sweet angel, I promise to make
