Employee Theft
One of the ethical behaviors that employees often engage in is stealing from their
employers. It is an undisputable fact that workers who are in charge of high positions in
corporations most often acquire resources through theft of theft related practices. According to
Moorthy (65), more that 30% of the workforce of a nation will steal from their employer at one
point in time.
There are several forces that motivate employees to engage in stealing from their
employers. There are individual and organization motivation factors to stealing. For the
organization factors, employees seek an opportunity to steal when they have a feeling that the
