In today’s job world, employees come into the work place with different backgrounds
and attitudes; however, they are able to adequately accomplish what their job descriptions
require of them. However, depending upon the employee, there are different needs that must be
addressed in order for their work-related performances to either remain at a high level or
improve to a higher level. As a result, the organization must monitor the behavior of their
employees and come up with a strategy to meet the demands of their work force. In this paper,
there will be an analysis into two specific employees with Solomon Industries, Inc., Jimmy
Brown and Michael Johnson.
Jimmy Brown is a night shift manager with the organization. Born in 1955, and after
serving in the military for twenty years, he joined Solomon Industries as a production supervisor
