Emancipation Proclamation Rhetorical Analysis
As we all know back in 1863, the United States had World War II going on for a couple years.
There were also other problems that the U.S had endured. One major and most important one being
slavery. However, many iconic figures through history like Martin Luther King Jr., had been fighting for
years to end this horrible system that had been going on. During this time, the country had been
struggling to stay as one as they were split into two groups, the Confederates and the Union. One man
by the name of Abraham Lincoln, whom was the tallest U.S president, became infuriated by the
