Electric Cars
As technology further develops in this world, so will the vehicles. Electric vehicles are
slowly growing in popularity due to their efficiency. My family owns a dealership in a small
town so if we got electric vehicles it would totally change the system. Also, many people believe
electric cars are the future so it’s important to be informed about them. There are many popular
questions asked about electric cars. These questions include how many different ways there are
to charge electric cars batteries, if the initial cost of the vehicle outweighs the environmental
impact, how long it is able to go on a single charge, and what happens to the batteries once they
die.
Starting off, many people will assume there is only one way to charge electric car
batteries: plugging the car in. Others assume there are multiple ways to charge a battery such as
plugging them in, the use of solar panels to charge the car, or using the alternators to generate
and store more power that ultimately powers the cars. However, there are some individuals who
think there could be alternative ways of charging. In my opinion, I believe there are many
different forms of charging, but I feel it ultimately it depends on the brand of car itself. No matter
what, there is some way in which the vehicle’s battery gets charged in order to move the car and
get the person from point A to point B.
Electric cars have multiple ways of charging, including the “Level 1 or 120 volt, Level 2
or 240 volt, and DC fast-charging,” according to Andy Andrews from TCA Regional News,
Chicago. A Level 1, or the most basic type of charging, is similar to plugging in an electric alarm
