I feel as though elections can have a wide array of impacts on international business
and the global economy. When a new leader of a certain nation emerges, they can
drastically change the way things operate depending on the system of said nation. When
we speak of elections and appointing a new leader, we are talking about appointing
someone who may potentially have the power to come in and totally rearrange the system
set by the previous leader; and specific changes in policies of those such as free trade and
immigration can be a major factor in determining the direction of international business.
