According to Chriscaden (2020), the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant loss of
human life globally, posing an unparalleled challenge to public health, food systems, and the
workplace. Tens of millions of people are at risk of sliding into severe poverty, and the number of
people suffering from malnutrition might rise by up to 132 million by the end of the year. She also
added that millions of businesses are facing bankruptcy and workers in the informal economy are more
vulnerable because they lack social protection and access to good health care. Such ideas highlight the
negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on human life and share some basic features in common
