U.S Education System Reform
High schools in America focus purely on grades and pushing students to go to college.
The pressure on students to get good grades and go to college is detrimental to their mental
health. Teens often find themselves under unhealthy amounts of stress, they suffer from anxiety
that is often worsened by tests and class presentations, and sometimes fall into depression. The
current educational system does not provide a place that everyone feels safe in. There is no
reason for high school aged kids to be under the amount of stress that they are. The United
States educational system should be reformed to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression in teens
and make it easier for those suffering from mental health issues to succeed in school.
