Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to give the reader a definite understanding of my personal
educational philosophy. Throughout this paper there will be different sections explaining the
many different aspects of an educational philosophy. I have developed each section in regard to
my feelings toward education.
As any teacher young or old believes forming your own philosophy towards education is
very important. A teacher’s own educational philosophy is the glue that often holds the teachers
world together. Throughout ones teaching career the teacher will often find that staying true to
his or her teaching philosophy will be difficult, for there are over protective parents, and children
that will drive you crazy, and will try your patience. However, I believe that if you stick to your
beliefs and truly try to help the students that you teach you will build a better future by building
their education. A well-developed educational philosophy will act as a guide throughout one’s
educational career. My philosophy focuses on 3 different areas why I want to be a teacher,
strategies to accommodate multiple learning styles, and educational philosophic perspectives.
Each area provides a different viewpoint that all educators must see, as well as points of views
from educational theorist across the ages.

mind, to make a positive impact on society and to foster student success,
